|Based in Oakville, Ontario, the Managing Director will take on a key leadership role in transaction origination. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and a track record of deal origination. This position will be responsible for all aspects of a transaction life cycle: client sourcing, due diligence, negotiations, valuation analyses, and transaction closing. Initiating new client relationships and expand business franchise within a designated industry or geographic sector(s).
Maintaining client relations during the deal origination period and build industry-specific or product-specific expertise.
Play key leadership role in the transaction origination process.
Generate and execute M&A transactions, from initial client pitches to transaction closings.
Responsible for leading the execution of an extensive variety of client transactions covering the full advisory, buy side and sell side M&A services.
Experience & Credentials.
A demonstrated track record of completed M&A transactions as an intermediary, derived from several years of experience in a reputable firm advising on lower to middle market transactions.
BA/BS degree required; MBA, CFA, CPA or other advanced degrees/credentials a plus.
Demonstrated track record with increasing responsibilities of lead generation.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills with an ability to bring in new clients.
Self-driven with the ability to work independently and on a team.
