Griffin has immediate openings for full-time Investment Banking Associates/Vice Presidents to support the Commercial, Industrial and Services Group (“CIS Group”), the Financial Restructuring Group (“FRG Group”) and the Insurance Group, respectively. These positions are based in the Greater Philadelphia and Central Pennsylvania areas. Griffin is seeking candidates with 3 to 7 years of M&A transaction and advisory experience; MBA, CPA or CFA preferred. Overview of Positions The Associates/Vice Presidents will support investment banking professionals in preparing research, industry analyses, proposals, presentations and marketing materials using advanced Excel and PowerPoint applications. The candidates will also be required to perform sophisticated analytical and administrative tasks, provide guidance to other professionals and take a leadership role in key back office processes. Individuals must be highly motivated, responsible and have excellent communication and time management skills. Duties and Responsibilities -Provide advanced analytical and transaction support to senior staff in all facets of the transaction process including research, marketing, pitch books, engagements and post-transaction administration -Transaction-related responsibilities include working with internal and external professionals in the execution of investment banking or capital markets transactions including buy side and sell side M&A, fairness opinions and capital offerings -Marketing-related responsibilities include performing company, industry, regulatory, market, economic, accounting, or other related analyses -Oversee work product performed by Analysts and or interns; manage, mentor, develop and recruit junior staff while enhancing the corporate culture

Qualifications, Skills and Background Bachelor of Science degree/concentration in Accounting, Finance or Mathematics required; MBA, CPA or CFA desirable 3-7 years of experience required in finance, investment banking, commercial banking, insurance, public accounting or related field Basic knowledge of insurance industry statutory and GAAP accounting desired for insurance position Superior analytical, quantitative, accounting and financial modeling skills |
